Description: Wang's Noodle House opened their doors in 1968 and was a San Francisco favorite for years to come because of its authentic Chinese menu as well as its late hours, serving until 4:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Wang's was little more than a hole in the wall of Chinatown, but still managed to pack the house with regulars and tourists alike until their untimely closing in 2004 after a fire gutted their building.
Description: The Blind Seer was one of NYC's oldest continuously operating family businesses in Chinatown. Operating across multiple generations of the Zhou family, from 1883 until 1992, the curio shop and fortune-teller business was a favorite of locals and tourists alike, but a combination of rising rents and a lack of interest from the next generation meant the end for this Lower Manhattan landmark. Thankfully, they made it through the '70s, which gave us a killer souvenir t-shirt that is now back to live another life.

Description: The J. J. Gittes design is inspired by the Jack Nicholson character in the films Chinatown and The Two Jakes. Gittes is a Los Angeles Private Eye in the vein of Philip Marlowe and Sam Spade, specialising in sleazy divorce work. Nicholson first appeared as Gittes in Roman Polanski's classic Chinatown, considered by many one of the best films of the Seventies.
