Recording began in 1969 and the album was released on March 7, 1970, by Windfall Records, and quickly reached number 17 on the American Top Albums chart. Climbing! included the group's best-known song, "Mississippi Queen," which became a reached number 21 in the Hot 100 chart in 1970, and "Never in My Life," which was received heavy rotation on contemporary FM radio.

The title track helped with the album's success, reaching No. 4 in 1978 on the US Hot 100 and remains one of the band's biggest hits. The album sold over one million copies in the ten days following its release. Don't Look Back was originally to be titled Arrival, however, it was discovered that a Swedish pop group released an album by that name two years prior, so Don't Look Back was chosen. The album received favorable reviews saying that it further refined this group's ability to play hard rock underlined by a sweet, melodic base.
Description: The expression 'hair of the dog' nowadays means having another drink in the morning to quell a hangover, but the term originally came from a method of treating a rabid dog bite. Hair from the dog was placed in the wound to help seal the would and allegedly fight off the rabies. Hair of the Dog is also the breakthrough studio album by Scottish hard rock band, Nazareth. Released on April 3, 1975. The album was recorded at Escape Studios, in Kent, with additional recording and mixing at AIR Studios, London. Hair of the Dog was the group’s sixth album, best known, and highest selling release, with over two million copies sold worldwide.

Description: Charisma Records – also known as 'The Famous Charisma Label' – was a British record label founded in 1969 by former journalist Tony Stratton-Smith. He had previously acted as manager for several British rock bands including The Nice, The Bonzo Dog Band and Van der Graaf Generator. The first release was an LP by Rare Bird, in November 1969, that delivered Charisma its first hit single in early 1970. The label would go on to sign some of the most successful acts of the '70s, producing an envious string of hits. Charisma's vinyl records featured a John Tenniel illustration of the Mad Hatter on the labels, leading to them sometimes referring to themselves (and be referred to) as 'The Mad Hatter Platter People.'
Description: The Move were a British rock band of the late '60s and the early '70s. They scored nine top 20 UK singles in five years, but were among the most popular British bands not to find any real success in the United States. The band evolved from several mid-'60s Birmingham-based groups, including Carl Wayne & the Vikings, the Nightriders and the Mayfair Set. Their name referred to the move various members of these bands made to form the group. By 1972, the Move had been reduced to a trio, and the band's later years saw this lineup develop a side project called ELO, which would go on to achieve major international success after The Move's disbandment.

Description: Jellyfish was a rock band that formed in San Francisco in 1989. The group was known for their blend of '70s classic rock and XTC-style power pop. They released two albums, Bellybutton (1990) and Spilt Milk (1993), that proved influential to many subsequent acts in a similar vein. During their five-year existence, Jellyfish attracted critical acclaim and a devoted cult following, but struggled against prevailing rock trends (hair metal and grunge), leading to them calling it quits in 1994.
