Crocodile Dundee T-Shirts
Description: Crocodile Dundee is a 1986 action comedy film set in the Australian Outback and in New York City. It stars Paul Hogan as the weathered Mick Dundee and American actress Linda Kozlowski as reporter Sue Charlton. Inspired by the true-life exploits of Rod Ansell, the film was made on a budget of under $10 million as a deliberate attempt to make a commercial Australian film that would appeal to a mainstream American audience, but proved to be a worldwide phenomenon.

Description: Finally, a shirt for fans of Belgian Surrealism and broad, fish-out-of-water Aussie comedy. The image reads “Ceci n’est pas un couteau… ceci est un couteau” which translates into Australian as “That’s not a knife… that’s a knife”, a phrase popularised by Prime Minister Paul Hogan during his time as cultural ambassador to the US in the 1980s. The image causes the viewer to question the very nature of art, reality, and knives.
