Description: I thought I was viewing a movie set when I came across this while exploring Prince Edward Island. Gillis' Drive In Restaurant is one of the last car hops service in Canada. It is located in the community of Montague, within the Town of Three Rivers, Kings County PEI. This 60's style drive-in had a lot of character and a great opportunity to create a story of nostalgia So I returned the next day at daybreak to photograph the the site to create this watercolour. Just as the sun peaked over the sign I got the final shot! It's not every day I come across an opportunity to photograph a scene that speaks of days gone by.
