Dc Trip T-Shirts
Description: A hand-drawn retro travel illustration of Great Falls Park, Virginia, where the Potomac River surges over jagged rock and narrows into Mather Gorge. This vintage-inspired scene captures one of Northern Virginia’s most memorable landscapes with a sense of scale, motion, and old-school adventure. Made for hikers, local explorers, Washington-area day-trippers, and anyone who knows the pull of a powerful river and a good overlook.
Description: Sourced from a souvenir t-shirt dated 1982, this beauty comes all the way from Dickerson, Maryland. In operation since 1786, White's Ferry is the last working ferry on the Potomac River. The ferry is and has been a widely used means of crossing the river (and a shortcut) between Maryland and Virginia since its inception. Located off Rt. 15, just north of Leesburg at the White's Ferry Road intersection, commuters today use the ferry daily, where 24 vehicles can be transported at a time.
