Democritus Atomos T-Shirts
Main Tag:
Description: A detailed scientific illustration of the Greek word ATOMOS above an atom drawn on a medallion in the style of ancient Greek pottery, set against a deep dark background. Around 400 BC, Democritus and his teacher Leucippus proposed that all matter is made of tiny indivisible particles moving through empty space. The word atom comes from the Greek atomos, meaning uncuttable. A gift idea for physicists, engineers and physics students, and a striking addition to a study, lab or office wall.
