The Greensboro Generals were a minor league ice hockey team based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Greensboro was part of the Eastern Hockey League from 1959 to 1973, and then played in the Southern Hockey League from 1973 to 1977. The team was founded when the Troy Bruins of the International Hockey League were relocated by owner Ken Wilson and admitted to the EHL, to play in the recently built Greensboro Coliseum.

The Virginia Raiders were a Minor Professional hockey team based in Salem, VA playing in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League from 1982 to 1983. The Raiders were previously known as the Salem Raiders playing in the Eastern Hockey League.

The Jersey Larks were a One-Year Wonder that played in the Eastern Hockey League during the winter of 1960-61. The Larks were the first pro sports tenant of the Haddonfield Ice House, erected in 1959. The building was better known in later years as Cherry Hill Arena. The Larks finished their debut season in 3rd place in the EHL’s Northern Division with a 24-39-1 record.

The New Haven Blades were a professional team in New Haven, Connecticut. They played in the Eastern Hockey League from 1954 to 1972. In 1972 the team was renamed the New England Blades based in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The team folded along with the league in 1973. In 1972 New Haven then got a team in the American Hockey League called the New Haven Nighthawks.

he Jacksonville Rockets were a professional minor league ice hockey team based in Jacksonville, Florida. They played in the Eastern Hockey League from 1964–1972, when they folded. They were the first professional hockey team to be based in Florida. They played most of their home games at the Jacksonville Coliseum; from 1966–68 they were known as the Florida Rockets, playing some of their home games in St. Petersburg, Florida.
