One Hundred is just another number in the series. Ninety nine,one hundred, one hundred and one... OR IS IT? First 3 digit number. At the modern OLYMPIC Games 100m is considered the BLUE RIBBON evert. Steam loco first travelling at 100MPH was greatly acclaimed (“Flying Scotsman” became the first steam locomotive to be officially recorded reaching 100 mph, during the 393-mile trip for London and Edinburgh ... or the GWR City of TRURO). Milestones harness human endeavour (first sub-4 minute mile by an athlete), first man on the moon etc

The Fourth plinth is the northwest plinth in Trafalgar Square in central London. It was originally intended to hold an equestrian statue of William IV; but is used as a short-term art space. Works are commissioned and are usually outrageous and controversial. Inspiration was the ‘Gift Horse’. I was a skeletal, riderless horse in bronze and sat on the 4th plinth in 2005.

The shade/colour of IRON RUST is a superb strong colour in the buildings and details of Moroccan dwellings.

The Majorelle Garden is a two and half acre botanical garden and artist's landscape garden in Marrakech, Morocco. It was created by the French Orientalist artist, Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923, and features a Cubist villa designed by the French architect, Paul Sinoir in the 1930’s.

The word ‘kaleidoscope’ is derived from Ancient Greek, its literal meaning being ‘observer of beautiful forms’. Kaleidoscopes have fascinated us with their complex, colourful and constantly shifting patterns since their invention 200 years ago. The interplay of light, colour and reflection is an elusive quality that artists and designers often seek to capture in their work.
