This is an old image from at least a year or so ago... Unfortunately, I haven't seen Peregrines around here for quite some time and the ones further afield that I sometimes see ~ might even be the very same Peregrine! In the interests of saving species and thinking about re-wilding Great Britain ~ what better example exemplifies the need of successional fully grown deciduous trees..? Is it something that the Government have got a grasp of...??? Not so long ago ~ before the dawn of the industrial revolution... The Island Nation of Great Britain was covered in vast areas of large deciduous Woodland and the species which lived upon such a diverse habitat - flourished... These days, isolated patches exist where wildlife can 'only just' manage... We must reconsider our natural world to incorporate more and encompass - 'more habitat for wildlife'... as it is nature which nurtures us and supports our entire existence... Plant NOW for generational success... ...
