Fatty T-Shirts
Description: The Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle T-Shirt celebrates one of the true legends of the silent film era and a mentor to such film icons as Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin and Bob Hope. Despite being one of the best loved and highest paid stars in Hollywood, Arbuckle is perhaps best known for the three trials he was forced to endure following the tragic death of Virginia Rappe at a party he was hosting. Arbuckle died of a heart attack in 1933 at the age of just 46.

Description: Yeah! I’ve always described women’s skirts from the mid 17th century as “huggable.” Just so much fabric, so much floof. There have been fat people all throughout human history, and I’m having fun drawing them. Don’t you want such a cool chick on your T-shirt or tote bag?
Description: High waist, no petticoat, sexy AF. Isn’t she marvelous? The brief vogue circa 1800 for wearing thin muslin gowns dipped in water so they cling to everything may be apocryphal, but isn’t it fun to think it was real? Another entry in my Historical Fatties series, she’s almost as cute as you are. You’re cuter, though.
Description: Is she a flapper? I dunno! Maybe. She’s wearing a snazzy dress anyway, peak of fashion for 1923-ish. Big hat, big belt, big heart. And some sweet kidskin gloves. I love 1920s silhouettes on fat figures, because all the fashion plates and famous figures from the era were very slim. But there were fat people, and some of them were really fashionable because why wouldn’t they be? Get your Gatsby on with this design.
Description: Step right back into the golden era of silent comedy! This fantastic historical illustration features the beloved comedian with a bustling 1920s Hollywood studio backlot brilliantly reflected in his round spectacles.
