Finney T-Shirts
Description: Hal Finney's iconic "Running bitcoin" tweet from January 10, 2009, is the first public social media post referencing Bitcoin, marking the moment the network became a living, decentralized reality. Days after Satoshi Nakamoto launched the genesis block, Finney became the first person outside of Satoshi to download and run the software. This two-word message signaled to the world that the network was operational, setting the stage for Finney to receive the first Bitcoin transaction of 10 BTC from Satoshi two days later. Today, this quote is sacred crypto lore, celebrated annually through charity runs honoring Finney’s legacy and his battle with ALS.
Description: In Thomas Edison's Christmas Carol, Tom Jenkins was not a significant character. However, in the 1970 musical "Scrooge", he has the most memorable moment when he dances, stomps, and sings gleefully on Scrooge's casket during his funeral procession- Not unlike a giddy Paul McCartney who has just won the rights to his own music.
Description: I think everyone could use a little extra positive energy during the holidays, which is why I re-created one of my favorite moments from the 1970 Scrooge musical. "I like life/ life likes me/ life and I fairly fully agree" is really a great daily affirmation.
Description: I'm a huge fan of the 1970 musical "Scrooge" starring Albert Finney. It's gritty, funny, scary, jolly fun. One of the highlights is when Scrooge does the "I Like Life" number with the Ghost of Christmas Present whilst getting drunk on the milk of human kindness.
