Fossil Fuels T-Shirts
Description: During September 1919, Harry Sinclair restructured Sinclair Oil and Refining Corporation, Sinclair Gulf Corporation, and 26 other related entities into Sinclair Consolidated Oil Corporation. In 1932, this new entity was renamed Consolidated Oil Corporation. In 1943, it was renamed Sinclair Oil Corporation. Near the beginning of the Great Depression, Sinclair sold the remaining interest in its pipeline subsidiary to Standard Oil Company (Indiana) for US$72.5 million (Standard Oil had purchased a 50% interest in the pipeline subsidiary in 1921). With these funds, including an additional US$33.5 million from an additional common stock issue, Sinclair retired several promissory notes and prepared to weather the Depression.
Description: Term limits — because maybe serving in Congress wasn't supposed to become a lifetime career. This funny political design takes a sarcastic look at career politicians, government reform, and the idea of putting limits on how long elected officials can stay in office. Perfect for political humor fans, government-watchers, voters, and anyone who appreciates a little bipartisan sarcasm about Washington. Original artwork by TeesForThee. Description: "Nuclear Power? Yes Please!" Protect the climate by supporting nuclear energy. Misguided environmentalism has ironically led to many nuclear power plants being closed forever without replacement, even though nuclear power generation is the greenest, cleanest, safest and most sustainable existing form of energy. Renewables like wind and solar can't power the world without causing massive damage to the environment (and even then you'll need coal power plants as backup). Climate change (a.k.a. global warming, climate crisis) will not be stopped by renewables but rather accelerated because they actually lead to increased greenhouse gas emissions. Only nuclear power will reduce our collective fossil fuel footprint.
Description: Express your support for nuclear power because only with this cleanest form of energy production can one ensure a reliable and affordable energy supply and end climate change.

Description: Harry Sinclair had his eye on a rival, Prairie Oil and Gas – a Rockefeller interest as big as Sinclair Consolidated. Sinclair held a half interest in the Ajax pipeline, which was jeopardizing the entire Prairie system by siphoning off most of their pipeline traffic. But in 1930, Sinclair sold its half to Standard Oil Company, along with its 50 percent interest in the Sinclair Crude Oil Purchasing Company, for $72.5 million cash.
Description: As global temperatures rise, geopolitical conflict over notions of “energy security” intensifies and people across the world are left unable to meet basic energy needs, there appears to be an emerging global consensus on the need for “energy transition” towards low-carbon energy sources. The consensual framing of the coming energy transition as “something we can all agree on”, however, masks a highly contested political terrain. Everywhere, struggle around energy is rife, with those invested in a revitalised “green capitalism” coming into antagonism with movements demanding emancipatory energy alternatives
Description: “I can control the weather, watch me revert Global Warming with the wave of my plastic straw” Have we become a culture that has lost its’ discernment and apposite faith, typifying the phrase “if you don’t believe in something are willing to believe anything.” As you bow down to these preaching pagan gods of weather note the huge billfold they have stuffed in their pants and wonder how will that significantly change the globe in anyones’ lifetime?
