Description: Genco Pura Olive Oil Company is a front company formed by Vito Corleone in 1920. It was named after his childhood friend and consigliere, Genco Abbandando. Its headquarters were on Mott Street, Little Italy in New York City. The company eventually grew to become the largest olive-oil importer in the United States. Genco Pura was a front for the Corleone crime family's criminal activities and its more shady operations were carried out by Salvatore Tessio and Peter Clemenza. The company became incredibly successful during the 1930s, after defeating Salvatore Maranzano in an event that would later be known as the Olive Oil War, named after the company.
Description: A vintage-style graphic with a central red banner reading 'GENCO' and 'OLIO OLIVIO'. Above is a bull illustration with 'FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS' arched around. Below, a beige ribbon says 'EXTRA FINE OLIVE OIL' and another reads 'PURE VIRGIN', with an olive branch at the bottom.
Description: Genco Purity Olive Oil Company serves as the legitimate front and institutional beating heart of the Corleone crime family. Established in Little Italy during the 1920s by Vito Corleone and his close friend Genco Abbandando, the business allowed Vito to disguise his illicit mafia operations behind an essential Italian import enterprise. More than a mere cover, Genco Olive Oil symbolized heritage, community roots, and the facade of respectable immigrant ambition. Operating out of its modest Manhattan storefront, the company shielded the Family's empire until power shifted toward legal enterprise.

Description: A vintage institutional design honoring the legacy of Genco Olive Oil Co. Rendered in flat ink with no embellishment, this layout reads like a lineage record or bureaucratic placard. Featuring mythic figures reframed as historical personnel, the series emphasizes typography, semantic color logic, and cultural specificity over decoration. A tribute to restraint, precision, and narrative realism.
