Humes Fork T-Shirts

Description: "Two tines, two kinds of knowledge, and a small fire waiting for everything else. A bold pitchfork graphic sums up David Hume's radical test for meaningful claims and his famous closing line. Hume's fork from the Enquiry (1748): all knowledge is either relations of ideas (a priori, 2 + 2 = 4) or matters of fact (a posteriori, fire burns). The rest? Commit it then to the flames. For empiricists, skeptics, philosophy students and teachers, scientists and fans of the Scottish Enlightenment. A witty gift for anyone who distrusts empty metaphysics.
