Description: Iona Abbey & Nunnery is an Abbey located on the tiny island of Iona, just off the Isle of Mull. One of the oldest Christian religious centres in Western Europe, dating back to 563 it was established when St Columba came to Iona from Ireland and remains a popular site of Christian Pilgrimage today.
