Description: Lars of Mars was a law enforcement agent of the Supreme Council, the ruling body of Mars. The Council decided to send Lars to Earth as a peacekeeping agent who would stop any possibility to interstellar war by fighting against "forces of evil" that would seek to disrupt the peace. Lars was an athletic man skilled in many edged weapons and firearms. Like other Martians, he had strong lungs that allowed him to survive without oxygen for several minutes.

Description: Tatooine was a sparsely inhabited circumbinary desert planet located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories. It was the homeworld of Anakin and Luke Skywalker, who would go on to shape galactic history. Part of a binary star system, the planet was oppressed by scorching suns, resulting in the world lacking the necessary surface water to sustain large populations. As a result, many residents of the planet instead drew water from the atmosphere via moisture farms. The planet also had no natural surface vegetation.
Description: The Lars moisture farm, also known as the Lars homestead, was a moisture farm on Tatooine owned and operated by the Lars family. Shortly before the Clone Wars, Cliegg Lars lived on the property with his second wife, Shmi Skywalker Lars, and son Owen Lars. Shmi's son, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, visited the farm and learned of his step-family before discovering that his mother had been captured and, ultimately, killed by Tusken Raiders. After Skywalker fell to the dark side of the Force and helped destroy the Jedi Order, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi took Anakin's son, Luke Skywalker, to the Lars homestead, where the boy was raised by Owen and his wife, Beru.
Description: Beru Whitesun Lars, born Beru Whitesun, was a human female from the planet Tatooine. She was married to Owen Lars, the stepbrother of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, whose son, Luke Skywalker, they raised during the reign of the Galactic Empire. Lars was killed along with her husband by Imperial stormtroopers, who also burned down the Lars moisture farm. With their deaths, Skywalker left his homeworld and joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
