Description: Marsha P. Johnson and the brick heard around the queer world! With art by the amazing Valentine Barker (www.valentinebarker.com), this shirt celebrates the history that we sometimes forget, that trans ladies of color started the modern LGBTQIA+ rights movement. Mostly by throwing bricks.
Description: A great design that expresses a simple but very strong message. Every person has the right to be themselves and no-one has the right to judge another for their differences. The differences between us make this world the beautiful place that it is.
Description: Marsha P. Johnson (August 24, 1945 – July 6, 1992) was an American gay liberation activist and self-identified drag queen. Known as an outspoken advocate for gay rights, Johnson was one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising of 1969. A founding member of the Gay Liberation Front, Johnson co-founded the gay and transvestite advocacy organization S.T.A.R. (Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries), alongside close friend Sylvia Rivera. From 1987 through 1992, Johnson was an AIDS activist with ACT UP. Shortly after the 1992 pride parade, Johnson's body was discovered floating in the Hudson River. #PrideMonth
