Description: The Overlook Hotel is a major recurring antagonist of the Stephen King multiverse. It serves as the main antagonist of the novel The Shining, it's 1980 film adaptation, it's 1997 miniseries, one of the two posthumous overarching antagonists (alongside Jack Torrance) of it's sequel Doctor Sleep, the overarching antagonist of it's 2019 film adaptation of the same name, and a minor antagonist of Billy Summers.
