February 3, 1959, three up and coming musicians boarded a plane in Clear Lake Iowa after their gig at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa as part of the Winter Dance Party tour. The rest is history, as Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper (J.P. Richardson) lost their lives when the plane crashed. Remember these pioneering artists with this design.
