Description: Sector 7 (七番街, Nanaban-gai) is one of the eight sectors of Midgar in Final Fantasy VII. It also appears in some form in On the Way to a Smile: Episode Denzel, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII-. The Sector 7 slums is the first town visited by the party after the attack on the Sector 1 Reactor, and is AVALANCHE's home base and an unrevisitable location. The most prominent location is Tifa Lockhart's 7th Heaven bar. Denzel was born on Sector 7 Plate. Like every sector, it exists as both part of the slums and part of the plate. Description: Sector 8 (八番街, Hachiban-gai?) is one of the 8 Sectors that divide up the city of Midgar in Final Fantasy VII. Sector 8 is the main entertainment area in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. LOVELESS Avenue is its main area of business and art. There the Genesis Fanclub meets and performances of the ancient epic LOVELESS take place. The only Sector that can be explored above the Plate, Sector 8 gives the only glimpse of life in Midgar that those who escape the poverty of the Slums can enjoy. It was the homeworld to the primitive wampa species. It notably hosted Echo Base during the Galactic Civil War, the temporary headquarters of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, until the Galactic Empire located them, initiating a major confrontation known as the Battle of Hoth. In the months following, scavengers established temporary base camps on the planet to scrap the AT-ATs destroyed.
