Description: My first attempt at some digital work. Continuing my recent theme of horror, I produced this new 8 piece set of halloween pieces. Initially all the pieces were going to be colour splashed, but after producing the starting illustrations I felt that full colour might be a better option. As a result I produced both to give the audience a choice of which they prefer. I’m still shaky with my hand eye co-ordiantion on the graphics tablet so I drew these out traditionally first and then worked the colour on top, but I quite like the finished result. The colours you can get with digital are much more vibrant than those done traditionally and this reflects the neon kind of effect of the masks which I like.

Description: Silver Shamrock Novelties was a toy company owned by Conal Cochran, a witchcraft-obsessed madman plotting to use his products to kill children during Halloween 3: Season Of The Witch. While this was perhaps not the best business plan, it was also not the best entry into the Halloween franchise, what with no Michael Meyers and all. Nonetheless, the movie happened and Silver Shamrock Novelties was born.

This version of the design features a heavily distressed vintage imprint that looks like you may have got it while working at Silver Shamrock in the 80s.
Description: Silver Shamrock Novelties was a producer of wildly popular Halloween masks in the small town of Santa Mira, California in the oddball entry of the Halloween franchise, Halloween III: Season of the Witch. This design celebrates their vintage factory as it stood in the 1982 film and includes a well seasoned vintage look making it look like you got it on a rare factory tour back in the day.
