The origins and purpose of this patch remains unclear, even now. It is believed the green figure holding the dagger is wearing the cloak to represent the cloak and dagger nature often associated with black projects. There is a star in the northern hemisphere over Europe and under the letter "S" and another red star in the American Southwest. It comes from when Apollo arrives at the Temple of Apollo where the prophet Sibyl utters the words "Procul, O procul este profane" before descending into Hades and discovering the future of Rome.
