The Hook in Santa Cruz, California, is a popular surfing spot nestled near the intersection of East Cliff Drive and 41st Avenue. It is suited for intermediate surfers, although it can get quite busy. Access can be challenging, with minimal sandy beach at the bottom of the stairs except during low tide when you can make your way down to the left.
