As lightning strikes the tree, we see two specters fleeing away from the chaos toward the ground with their arms outstretched. This scene inspires a sense of unsettling and chaos from the viewer. We chose a tree to represent the tower as it is a solid and reliable natural structure, however its roots are twisted through the shaky foundation of skulls that you see at the bottom of the card. Though this tree seems impervious to destruction, a simple bolt of lightning has the power to bring down its twisted bows and send its inhabitants fleeing for safety. Description: A simple but striking image based on Stephen Kings Dark Tower. I wanted to depict the Gunslinger without over complicating the image with layers and layers of iconography from the books. Fans of the series should get a kick out of the opening line of the books.
Description: The Mid-World Bowling Bag is the bag that Jake Chambers found in the vacant lot. Its side reads, "Nothing but strikes at Mid-Town Lanes," in the Keystone World, but in Mid-World, it says "Mid-World" instead of "Mid-Town". The bag was used to carry and transport Black Thirteen. In the side pocket, Susannah Dean found the sköldpadda.
