Violent Cop T-Shirts
Description: Takeshi Kitano's directorial debut Violent Cop (1989) follows Azuma, a detective whose increasingly brutal methods blur the distinction between police authority and criminal violence. A solitary suited figure emerges from the darkness beneath the film's original Japanese title.

Description: My original vintage-inspired portrait celebrates Japanese filmmaker and actor Takeshi Kitano (Beat Takeshi), featuring bold red Japanese kanji, stark black-and-white illustration and distressed screen-print textures. Drawing inspiration from classic Japanese yakuza cinema and Kitano's unforgettable performances in Violent Cop, Sonatine and Hana-bi, this design is a tribute to one of Japan's most distinctive cinematic figures.
