Yes, the address from which we joined the TARDIS and her crew on their adventures! This is a clean, non grubby version of the writing. Every version of this I have seen makes do with fonts, including a cursive script for the Scrap Merchant section. I chose to painstakingly copy the original hand-painted lettering from screen caps and photos of the original sign in both the pilot and first episodes of Doctor Who to create an accurate vector graphic version. What this means is, I’ve carefully replicated some of the badly painted letters of the original, but that I’ve also captured their uniqueness! There will be two other versions soonish. A grubbier version, and one replicating the look of the original wooden gates.

First of a series (Well, technically last? As I started from 12 and went backwards) featuring the First Doctor, played by William Hartnell, with his granddaughter Susan and her teachers Ian and Barbara in 76 Totter's Lane. Where it all began in 1963.

This is a series of portraits on the Doctor from the long running BBC show, Doctor Who. This is William Hartnell - the Doctor from 1963 to 1966. He was the first. He was the Doctor back when television was still largely black and white, which is why I left the background black and white. Without him, we wouldn't have all the other Doctors.
