Description: My original Comedy Is Right, 2025, is a multi media (super-glue shellacked dried plantain slice, print, duck tape and acrylic paint on canvas), 6"x6". There are times when the "High Art World" falls all over itself paying homage to the truly absurd, but there are times something absurd can have a long-term positive effect on the visual arts as a whole. However, something absolutely ridiculous and with no redeeming value, which passes in a short time like a naked emperor strutting past an observant and honest parade attendee, is that which this work is a commentary. BTW, this is part of an ever-expanding group of works the Indy Arts Council doesn't want you to see.😁
