Description: Junko Yagami (born January 5, 1958, in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture) is a prominent Japanese singer-songwriter known for her significant contributions to the city pop, funk, and soul genres during the 1970s and 1980s. She is the eldest daughter of Ryozo Yagami, the fourth president of Yagami Seisakusho, and began learning piano at age three before making her professional debut in 1978 with the hit single "Omoide wa Utsukushisugite."
