The 199th Infantry Brigade (Light) is a unit of the United States Army which served in the Army Reserve from 1921 to 1940, in the active army from 1966 to 1970 (serving in the Vietnam War), briefly in 1991–1992 at Fort Lewis, and from 2007 as an active army training formation at Fort Benning.

The 199th Infantry Brigade was formed for the second time. It trained at Fort Benning, Georgia and Camp Shelby, Mississippi from September to November 1966 in preparation for deployment to Vietnam from Fort Benning, Georgia. The 199th was the only combat unit to train at Camp Shelby during the Vietnam War. Nicknamed "the Redcatchers", the unit was hastily moved to Sông Bé, Vietnam on 10 December 1966 to provide an increased U.S. presence in the III Corps Tactical Zone and remained there until its return to Fort Benning on 11 October 1970, where it was inactivated

As the 67th Infantry Brigade, the brigade was initially formed in August 1917 in the Iowa and Nebraska Army National Guards, and was part of the 34th Division mobilized for World War I. It comprised the 133rd Infantry Regiment of Iowa and the 134th Infantry Regiment of Nebraska. The 67th Separate Infantry Brigade was formed on 1 April 1963 due to the elimination of the Nebraska–Iowa 34th Infantry Division under the Reorganization Objective Army Division reorganization. The 57th Field Artillery Brigade, at which time its subordinate organizations included the 1st Battalion, 126th Field Artillery Regiment and the 1st Battalion, 121st Field Artillery Regiment from the Wisconsin Army National Guard, plus the 1st Battalion, 182nd Field Artillery Regiment of the Michigan Army National Guard. 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade

The 11th Infantry Brigade is an inactive infantry brigade of the United States Army. It was first formed as part of the 6th Infantry Division during World War I. It is best known for its service with the 23rd Infantry Division from 1967 through 1971 in the Vietnam War as a light infantry brigade. The 11th Infantry Brigade was deployed to Vietnam in December 1967 due to a need for additional American troops there,[7] and during the Vietnam War served in the United States Army's 23rd Infantry Division (called the Americal Division).
