This is an image of the very top of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. It is a triumphal arch in Paris, located in the Place du Carrousel just behind Le Louvre. It was built between 1806 and 1808 to commemorate Napoleon's military victories of the previous year. It was designed the same year as its big brother (The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile at the far end of the Champs Élysées) with a Corinthian style architecture, and it is almost half the size of its big brother. It was not completed until 1836. The monument is 63 feet high, 75 feet wide, and 24 feet deep. The 21 feet high central arch is flanked by two smaller ones.
