This is a close-up image of one of the Louvre's wings showing the top of the building and its details, with all the windows and statues and intricate art work. I found the outdoors art work more interesting than the indoor collection. There are over 86 statues of famous French philosophers, artists, poets, and other eminent men and women adorning almost the entire perimeter of the Louvre's tops (I stopped counting after 86).
