Hay Bales 2 Tank Top

A country scene with vintage hay baler and bales. This caught my eye to create this image in the area of the Purple Hills near Creemore in Central Ontario. The baler is used to compress cut and windrow crops such as hay, or silage into compact bales that are easy to handle and transport from the field. The stored bales are used as feed throughout the year for livestock. This is actually a vintage baler that makes smaller round bales than the much larger ones in the background. I grew up on a farm and used such a baler. It was a noisy machine that shook rattled and rolled with lots of belts and pulleys.
