Description: The Starck Club was an instant '80s temple of hedonism after opening its doors in 1984 and quickly became the stuff of legend that would be spoken of for decades. In an abandoned concrete warehouse in the old part of Dallas, out past some forgotten railroad tracks, the cutting edge, raw-concrete venue instantly became an unlikely epicenter for 1980s counterculture. The interiors spared no expense: polished black terrazzo floors, shimmering gauze drapes, and a grand staircase that led to a sunken dance floor.
