Description: The Slavic symbol known as Kolovrat is widely recognized and possibly the most popular one (the oldest known artifacts featuring this symbol date back to approximately 3000 years before Christ, in the Polish region). Kolovrat's "dynamics" further add to its significance, representing the never-ending cycle of life as well as its consistency, repetition, and diversity. As a representation of the sun and fire, it is associated with Swarog, one of the Slavic pantheon's most important gods and the divine blacksmith. Swarog's symbol is believed to bring good luck, prosperity, and protection against evil forces. For fans of Slavic mythology, the Kolovrat symbol would make an excellent gift.
