Labrys Tank Tops
Description: Labrys Lesbian Feminist Flag. The labrys was adopted in the 1970s by lesbian feminists as a symbol representing strength and empowerment. The color violet became associated with lesbians through the representation of the violet flower as a symbol of lesbian love, which originates from a poem by Sappho about a lost love wearing a garland of "violet tiaras, braided rosebuds, dill and crocus". The labrys is superimposed within an inverted black triangle rooted in Nazi Germany. Similar to the pink triangle design, the black triangle was used in concentration camps to designate prisoners with anti-social behavior, which included lesbians.
Description: This is a labrys, outlined by a soaring bird, emerging from a waxing moon. The labrys is an old symbol representing lesbian and feminist strength. The moon, shown here in it’s growing phase, is often associated with a woman’s menstrual cycle. The bird could represent freedom, but for the most part it just looks cool.
Description: Rock your pride with this rainbow-colored Labrys, a symbol of lesbian pride, strength, and feminine empowerment. Featuring white female gender symbols on the double-headed axe, this design represents sapphic identity, resilience, and power. 🌈🪓 Perfect for Pride events, LGBTQ gatherings, or everyday empowerment. ✨ Perfect for: ✔️ Lesbian pride & allies 🏳️🌈 ✔️ Pride events & LGBTQ+ visibility 🎉🌈 ✔️ Sapphic empowerment & strength 💪 ✔️ Feminine power & identity ✊ 💡 How do you rock your pride & power? 🌈🪓
Description: A secret group holds a military base on the moon. For years they’ve spread disinformation that the moon exists solely as an artificial, hollow satellite controlled by them in an attempt to erase aeons of knowing that it is and has always been a source of feminine divinity and power in its relationship to the Earth. Recently, a popular and very aware spokesperson for the mermaid branches of the galactic community had the strength and courage to stand up to them exposing their lies. This design was inspired by her act and is in tribute to She who calls herself Indigo Angel. The moon here is the Super Blood Wolf Moon in Cancer Post-Eclipse photographed by me on January 20, 2019 in Arizona, with my symbolic graphic.
From RESISTANCE to REVOLUTION 3 (back only) Tank Top
by Medusa's Lair: Spirit, Symbol, and Shadow
$21
Description: Are you fed up? Have you experienced the breaking of the last straw? Well then it’s time to do something more than resist. It’s time to be more proactive and to insist that the U.S. House and Senate do the same. We need to see our reps and senators out in the streets too - maybe even on the White House lawn - risking arrest and more as the PEOPLE push Trump into a corner. It is possible. While predominately used by feminists in the modern era, the symbol of the labrys is not exclusionary. The double ax represents metamorphosis (as in moths) for transforrming the resistance into a revolution. The association with the female labia symbolizes there is nothing more powerful than the forces of creation which reside within us all
