The Rendezvous Cafe is an iconic art deco style cafe and ice cream shop on the promenade at Whitley Bay, North Tyneside on the North East coast of England. The building was designed and erected in 1930 as the Garden Restaurant and re-named The Rendezvous Cafe in 1957. It has been featured in a prime time advert for BP and more recently has been used in the filming of the TV crime drama 'Vera'.

The sandy bay at Cullercoats in the North East of England is enclosed by two small piers and was once a thriving fishing village in the early 1800s and is now home to the Dove Marine Laboratory and an RNLI Lifeboat station.
