It has links with the Lake Poets: William and Dorothy Wordsworth lived in Grasmere for 14 years and called it "the loveliest spot that man hath ever found." Tenby Town Houses, Dramatic, Pembrokeshire, Wales Tenby's roots date back to the time of the Norman Conquest when the county was invaded and colonised in around 1093. Much of the medieval castle walls, built by the Pembrokeshire Earls in 1264 to fortify the town from Welsh rebellion, have survived intact to the present day. Haweswater Reservoir In The Cumbrian Lake District We drove all the way round Hawswater only to find the the car park was full and there were no spaces on the roadside. Luckily, on the way back there were no vehicles following so I just kept stopping and getting out to take a few photographs of this stunning lake. Haweswater is a reservoir in the valley of Mardale, Cumbria in the Lake District, England. Work to raise the height of the original natural lake was started in 1929. It was controversially dammed after the UK Parliament passed a Private Act giving Manchester Corporation permission to build the reservoir to supply drinking water to the city. Louth, Lincolnshire, UK, Montage This montage is of all of the welcome signs to my lovely home town of Louth in Lincolnshire, UK. Mousehole Harbor Boats, Cornwall, UK I just love this quaint little fishing village on the coast of Cornwall. Mousehole is a little gem of a find and worthy of a few hours of your time.
