The No Step warning sign has many uses, not limited to fragile aircraft areas.

THREE YELLOW LINES. Definitely NO PARKING. In my home town council workers,following instructions, in a very narrow road... too narrow for a car.... painted this collection of road markings. NOBODY ASKED if the instruction and work permit was sensible. It was only when the press were informed and reported in the local papers , that the council acted to remove the markings.

A well-deserved break from having to lie down in the road all day, from the surreal world of the 'Inklings' cartoon collection.
