In 1976, America celebrated her bicentennial and while there were countless designs commemorating the event, one of the most ubiquitous was this classic Spirit of 76 design, most commonly found as iron-ons for t-shirts and other soft goods. This design is a hand-drawn recreation based one of these from a new old stock source and includes plenty of wear and tear to give it a genuine vintage look.

I remember the American Bicentennial being a huge thing and it seemed to last longer than one year.
