Description: Peter Davison was the fifth Doctor. Since his predecessor, Tom Baker, was the Doctor for eight years, the fifth Doctor was developed almost in absolute contrast to the fourth Doctor. He was more cautious, more serious, younger and less eccentric. He wore a Cricket uniform. If you're not familiar with Cricket, it has a very preppy, trim look to it, like something you'd see at a private Country Club. The only eccentric part of his wardrobe was the celery that he pinned to his lapel, but even that had a purpose, as he claimed that it would turn purple in the presence of certain poisonous gases.
