If there is one thing there is no shortage of in New York City, it’s souvenir t-shirts. Some good, some bad, but one thing they all have in common is celebrating NYC. This 1980 design leverages the city’s Big Apple nickname and includes a literal big apple that’s been bitten open to reveal Lower Manhattan’s early ’80s skyline, including the twin towers of the WTC. Silly? Yes. Cool? Definitely.

We will never forget the people who never returned home, the passengers who never reached their destination, the brave police officers and firefighters who served and gave their lives to protect and serve the city of New York on September 9, 2001.
