Description: In ancient Greek and Roman mythology Aeneas was a legendary Trojan hero, portrayed in the epics of the Iliad and the Roman Aeneid. He was the leader of the Dardanians and main lieutenant of Hector. Aeneas was protected by Aphrodite and Apollo in the war.

Description: "dixit, et os impressa toro 'moriemur inultae, sed moriamur' ait. 'sic, sic iuvat ire sub umbras. hauriat hunc oculis ignem crudelis ab alto Dardanus, et nostrae secum ferat omina mortis.' dixerat, atque illam media inter talia ferro conlapsam aspiciunt comites, ensemque cruore spmantem sparsasque manus. it clamor ad alta atria: concussam bacchatur Fama per urbem." This part of the Aeneid never fails to make me cry, it's so beautifully written and really pulls at my heartstrings. I couldn't get it out of my head for days and I wanted to make a design that I hope does Dido some justice.
