Over the last several years, Amaryllis have become increasingly popular as Christmas plants, because they can bloom indoors in winter and because of their bright, colorful flowers.

I took the photo of this fresh, sparkling Amaryllis the day before this post. It’s always a joy to see these wonderful radiant beautiful flowers suddenly appear all over our garden. The Leopard toad below the amaryllis was swimming in our pond on the same day.

A favorite during the Christmas season and any other time of the year, this orange and white amaryllis would look lovely in your home.

This is an amaryllis with a textured background. I have grown this myself it is the third year of flowering. When fully in flower, it will be a orangery red bell type flower.
