Coquet Island lies about a mile off the Northumbrian coast near Amble and is a vibrant seabird sanctuary being home to the UKs only Roseate Tern breading colony as well as a home for Puffins, Sandwich and Arctic Terns. Coquet Island is a wildlife sanctuary and is not accessible to the public.
