Art Deco Tapestries
Description: A colorful scene portrays a whimsical garden path leading to a cozy cottage, surrounded by a riot of flowers in full bloom. The swirling patterns of the sky and foliage create a dynamic sense of movement and joy. The vibrant colors evoke an atmosphere of warmth and imagination.
Description: One of my favorite things to do is find old works of art that have entered into public domain. I enjoy artwork that is well known, but finding pieces that are less known is even better. This work by Gustav Klimt was painted in 1907 and is entitled, Adele Bloch Bayer’s Portrait. The beautiful gold colouring and style is much like his more while known piece, The Kiss.
Description: Terry the Ghoul is a little bit confused but means well. Well, maybe he meant "make war not art"... that's not right... "make art not war", yeah that's it! Haha, this design is inspired by the current month, October, or known to artists as Inktober. It's a wonderful time of the year dedicated to art, creativity and often creepy and spooky things related to Halloween. Terry loves to be creative and often paints portraits in blood, but he's kinda shy to show them to the world. Naturally, he's wearing the inverted bonetagram shirt and is being his cheerful self!
Description: "Death and Life" by Gustav Klimt is a captivating exploration of the cyclical nature of existence. In this design, Klimt intertwines the themes of mortality and vitality, portraying death as a serene figure cradling a group of intertwined figures representing life. The contrasting elements of light and dark, along with Klimt's signature use of rich colors and intricate patterns, create a mesmerizing tableau that invites viewers to contemplate the interconnectedness of all things. With its profound symbolism and evocative imagery, "Death and Life" serves as a timeless meditation on the eternal dance between creation and dissolution, making it a compelling addition to any collection.
