Aurlandsfjord Tapestries

The view looking over the Aurlandsfjord from the village of Flåm in Norway with clouds passing low over the summits of the surrounding mountains. Flåm sits at ther furthest end of the fjord which is a branch of the Sognefjorden - the longest fjord in Norway. It's a very narrow fjord and is deep enough for larger ships to travel along its length ' sois a destination for cruise ships. The mountains surrounding the fjord are high - reaching about 1800m.
