Looking over the grape orchards towards Switzerland in October. The church of Seefelden in front. As often a Zeppelin is crossing the lake. The picture was taken in Hagnau, Germany. It shows the village’s jetty where tourists boats stop to load and unload passengers. In this night I took a lot of photos. I call this collection sun, moon & stars, because I started taking photos just before sunset and ended up right after midnight when the moon rised up. Maybe I will post some more of them here. The Autumn colours on the trees at the foot of Darling Fell on the banks of Loweswater in the Lake District look striking against the calm of the water on the lake.. Loweswater is close to the much larger Crummock Water, separated by Loweswater village.

"Oliver The Otter at River Wolf Lake in Autumn" Oliver the Otter is visiting the south end of River Wolf Lake and is enjoying the crisp mountain air. It is still hot in Socal so this little break from the heat is exciting. He even had to wear his fall sweater it was so chilly. Copyright 2021

Ashness Bridge is a traditional stone-built bridge on the single-track road to Watendlath, in the English Lake District, Cumbria. The bridge a fine viewpoint across Borrowdale towards Skiddaw, including views of Derwent Water nearby.

View from the "Hegaublick". The landscape is dominated by volcanic hills which were active more than 10 million years ago. On top of Hohentwiel there is Germay's largest ruined fortress. Also on the top of other hills like the Hohenkrähen and Mägdeberg ruins of castles can be visited. The other volcanic hills in the picture are Hohenhewen and Hohenstoffeln.
