Description: Underneath Bob Hall Pier - Padre Island by Debra Martz Bob Hall Pier is part of Bali Park located on north Padre Island, Corpus Christi, TX. It extends 1240 feet out into the Gulf of Mexico. It is a great place for fishing. There is also an open air restauarnt (just overhead from where I shot this image) so you can enjoy good food and the seabreeze. In inclimate weather, glass roll down garage type windows can protect you from the elements while you still enjoy a nice meal and view. Update: the restaurant is all that now stands after the last restaurant.
Description: Robert E. Lee Pettit Jr. is an American former professional basketball player. He played 11 seasons in the National Basketball Association, all with the Milwaukee/St. Louis Hawks. In 1956, he became the first recipient of the NBA's Most Valuable Player Award and he won the award again in 1959.
