There are other mammals that can't jump either, like hippos, rhinos and sloths. Although, unlike elephants, hippos and rhinos can have all four feet off the ground at the same time when they run.

Lizards are reptiles and there are over 4,675 species! This one is a leopard gecko and, unlike most geckos, it possess movable eyelids. They clean their eyes with their tongues and they can break their tails off like most other lizards (due to poor handling or by fighting with other geckos). The tail will grow back, but they will be shorter, thicker, smoother and less colorful.

Petroleum is not just used in cars. You can find it in basic everyday items like plastic, detergent, rubber, paint, pesticide, photographic film, makeup, candles and many types of medicine. Nonetheless, Petroleum is toxic and its extraction fuels climate change. We should use it wisely but still fight for renewable energies and alternatives to plastic. Now, alongside Petroleum extraction, cow farts have a big impact on our climate. This is yet another reason for us to make little changes in our lives. Changing our diet by reducing meat and dairy products would not only benefit our health but lessen our negative impact on our planet.

Today is Fibonacci (Leonardo of Pisa) Day. Fibonacci sequence starts like this: 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13 and so on. Each number is the sum of the two numbers before. When using squares with those widths we get a spiral like the one on the tail of the chamaleon. You can find it also on: flower petals; seed heads; pinecones; shells; spiral galaxies etc.
