Dragon Fly Snail Passionflower Tapestries

These passionflowers were trapped in the fence of my house, to become paper and pencil illustrations, and then jump to the computer and become digital passionflowers. His story is: A snail decides that the day has come to discover what lies beyond. Raise your antennae, close your eyes and trust that your passion will take you far. The dragonfly looks calm and allows its wings to sway with the wind and the desire of the snail.

The two passionflowers of the variety known as “Tambo” were trapped in the fence of my house, to become paper and pencil illustrations, and then jump to the computer and become digital passionflowers. A dragonfly, a ladybug and a bee decided to visit them.

The passionflowers in this illustration are two varieties that grow in the Mediterranean coastal climate. The one below is known as “Tambo” and produces an edible fruit, like its companion the “maracuya” or "passion fruit" above. Passionflowers are voracious plants that can grow without fear.

This illustration is a digital collage. I gather the flowers and create a flower crown. Why? To feel the reign in me. The crown in the illustration has three types of passiflora varieties and they belong to the same family. What family? The one who is not afraid to grow.
